Things must be going pretty well in the
three Inland Valley cities that regularly hold their City Council elections in
March of odd years.
Either that, or apathy rules in
Claremont, La Verne and San Dimas.
It's mostly the former in the case of
these three well-run cities, in our view.
La Verne won't even hold an election
this coming March. No challengers filed to oppose incumbent Mayor Don Kendrick
or Councilwomen Robin Carder and Donna Redman, so all three will have another
term by default.
Nor did any San Dimas citizen step
forward to take on Mayor Curt Morris or Councilmen Denis Bertone and Jeff
