CRP Statement on California's July Unemployment Report

SACRAMENTO, CA – California Republican Party Chairman Tom Del Beccaro issued the following statement in regards to California's unemployment rate climbing by two-tenths of a percentage to 12 percent:

"The dismal unemployment numbers announced today are a stark reminder that the policies of the Democrat majority are failing California. We don’t need unrealistic green job programs or toothless legislative reform. Instead of piling on more job-crushing bills, the Democrats should vacate Sacramento and give California business owners a chance to turn things around."
